Mik Kaminski is adducated at Harrogate and had his professional debut in at the age of 14 years in The Leeds Orchestra.

In comes Mik Kaminski with The Electric Light Orchestra, which after minimal success in Europe, concentrating almost exclusively on the US market.

The band is touring now as much as possible.

This line up (Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan, Hugh McDowell, Richard Tandy, Michael De Albuquerque & Mike Edwards) also recorded the live album "The Night the light went on in Long Beach" which was only released in Australia, New Zealand and mainland Europe.

In the spring of forms Mik a temporary and parallel band Violinski, who released the hit single "Clog Dance" and the album "No cause for alarm" and toured a bit in England.

Mik Kaminski is involved in the Kelly Groucutt's solo album "Kelly" on the song Midnight train on Violin.

After the album "Out of the Blue" with The Electric Light Orchestra is Mik leaving the band.

After The Electric Light Orchestra in was dissolved, carried the band on as Electric Light Orchestra, Part Two, with the former members (Bev Bevan and Mik Kaminski) later also comes Kelly Groucott with, but in jumps Bev Bevan from the band and when he was the only member who had been in The Electric Light Orchestra from the beginning, demanded Jeff Lynne via lawsuit name back.
